Nederlands 12 juni: tegen de middag naar Europoort gereden, alwaar ik op de boot wachtte. Aan boord gaan was niet zo snel gedaan, er gaat nogal wat op zo'n ding! 13 juni: Na aankomst in Hull regende het een klein beetje, maar steeds meer richting Wales werd het beter weer. Na een behoorlijk lange reis veilig aangekomen in Llandudno, en daarvandaan maar even naar huis gebeld. Toen Carol even gebeld. Carol is iemand uit Liverpool die ik al een tijd via een mailing list over line-dansen ken. Die was verrast! |
English 12th of june: around noon I drove to Europoort, where I waited for the boat. Boarding did not go very fast, there is a lot of cars and stuff that goes on such a vessel! 13th of June: After arriving in Hull it rained a little, but the more I got towards Wales, the weather improved. After a long trip I arrived safely in Llandudno, from where I called home that things were all safe. After that I called Carol. Carol lives in Liverpool, and I know her for a while already, through a mailing list on line dancing. She was very surprised! |

Het Sandringham hotel, waar ik heb gelogeerd. Met de Ford Ka helemaal rechts! 14 juni: Na het uitgebreide ontbijt meteen op stap gegaan. Naar Conwy. Daar staat een heel oud kasteel, en dat moet gezien worden! Het regende een heel klein beetje maar dat maakt niet uit. Door het stadje gewandeld, en kasteel bekeken. Dat is groot! Kijk zelf maar: |

There was a bit of rain, but who cares? I walked through Conwy and looked at the castle. And that is BIG!! See for yourself: |

| Na het bezoek aan Conwy ben ik doorgereden via Colwyn Bay en Rhos-on-Sea. Er was nogal wat bewolking dus was er niet veel te zien. Door dan maar, richting Tal-y-Cafn. Zo kwam ik bij Bodnant Garden, een enorm engels landgoed met een prachtige tuin die nooit meer op schijnt te houden: | After visiting Conwy I drove on through Colwyn Bay and Rhos-on-Sea.
