Meditation. 1. What is it?

I meditate. Since long. I think I discovered it when I was 13 or 14. It started with a little book by Dr. Gisela Eberlein called "Health through autogenic training" (in Dutch: "Gezond door autogene training".) It worked well for me for a while. After that I ventured into yoga and even a short bout of Zen, but that was too foreign for me. Then I discovered TM. Transcendental Meditation. That was an eye opener.

Whales and harpoons

Are Some Whales More Valuable Than Others? When nature is the enemy, the world rallies to save the whales from being trapped in ice or stranded on the beach. Jyoti Singh Pandey

Lets take a moment today--the Indian government has put a ban on media publishing her name. But we can tell the world who she is (not "was") and do as her father asked--let what happen to her mean change in the world. Her name is Jyoti Singh Pandey.

Meditation

Meditation. You probably have heard of it. Perhaps even tried it or still do it. Maybe you think it's great, or you think it's nonsense. Everything's fine. I think meditation is an amazing way to relax and to let your inner Self bloom.

Inflatable light on solar energy

Yes, this is very very smart. Have a look at Luminaid. They created an inflatable light that recharges on solar energy. 5 hours of sunlight will give you 8 to 10 hours of night light! A standard light costs $18.95 (at least that is what their website says as I type this). Brilliant!
