Old man in the sky

It is amazing to see How many people believe There is an old man in the sky Who has nothing else to do Than to look at what they do. He watches them eat He watches them sleep And checks if they behave According to 10 rules he gave them And if they don't behave well They are doomed and cursed And they're sent to a Hell Full of pain and dirt and terror This…

Friendship garden

Friendships are the flowers in the garden of my life. And in my precious, tender care they blossom and they thrive. And with each one that's planted, I watch to see it grow, And treat it oh so tender til the first new blossom shows. But deep within my garden, back in a special part, Are kept my favorite flowers, the Roses of my Heart. These Roses are so special and are beautiful indeed; The…

A pagan in hell

A Pagan dies, and to his great surprise finds himself standing before some pearly gates. The guy in charge looks him over before asking, "Can I help you?" "Where am I?" asks the Pagan. "Beg your pardon?" the other guy asks. "You're in Heaven, of course." "B-but I don't believe..." "Hmmm" (squinting his eyes) "are you one of them Pagan folk?" the gatekeeper asks, his mouth curling in mild distaste. "Yes, I am... I believe…

I'm now an elder, yet every day, I am denied my right to pray By those who sent…

But the man did not listen. The man looked around and said, "Goddess, let me see you." And a star shone brightly. But the man did not notice. And, the man shouted, "Goddess, show me a miracle!" And, a life was born. But…

Internet Explorer

It is a strange piece of software. I don't like it but I need it for some stuff at work. After it was automatically upgraded to 9.0 I spent ages trying to find how it will automatically load Citrix ".ica" files. Never found it. Since a few days it automatically loads .ica files without me telling it to do so? This takes user-friendly to new heights. Uhm - make that lows?
